Photo Dan CrawfordDAN CRAWFORD is President of Syscon Justice Systems. Mr Crawford has enjoyed a career as a senior manager (including stints as Chairman, CEO and President) with a number of important companies in the public safety and corrections industry. In addition, Mr. Crawford was the founder of EPIC Solutions, Inc., an INC 500 fastest growing company. Mr. Crawford has been named Business Leader of the Month by the national Foundation for Enterprise Development, and One of the Most Influential Technology Leaders by the San Diego Business Journal. Mr. Crawford began his professional career in the military as a Naval Aviator. After leaving active duty, Mr. Crawford remained in the Naval Reserves and retired in 1996 with the rank of captain. He holds an undergraduate degree in business administration, an MBA, and a law degree, and has served on multiple boards of directors.

Photo Dan CrawfordBOB ELSON, Sales & Marketing Sr. Vice President. Bob brings a wealth of knowledge to Syscon having been involved in the Information Technology industry for 33 years, the last 25 of which have been in senior management roles. Bob has been involved in the automation of the Justice market for the last 19 years with particular emphasis on the Corrections sector over the last 13 years.

Photo Dan CrawfordSTEVE LONG, General Manager (EMEA). Steve has over 10 years of Project and Programme Management experience in software development companies. Steve also has over 7 years of Senior Management experience which has included being General Manager of a software development house, a management consultancy, and a computer simulation modeling company. Steve joined Syscon in May 2007, initially responsible for the software delivery on the Prison-NOMIS project which is currently being rolled out to all the prisons in England and Wales. In July 2008, Steve took over the role of General Manager (EMEA) responsible for Syscon operations in Europe, Middle-East and Africa. This includes project delivery, customer support and business development.

Photo Dan CrawfordKERRY LYNN, Vice President, Business Development, brings to our clients over 18 years of Sales and Business Development experience in the embedded systems and software development markets. Kerry’s experience in working with our engineering and development teams, and with third party solution providers and OEM companies, ensures that Syscon will remain on the leading edge, providing our customers with the most advanced hardware and software solutions to enhance their Case Management systems. Kerry has held various Sales and Business Development Management positions most recently with Intrinsyc Software, TIR Systems.

Photo Dan CrawfordDOUG MCFEE is Vice President, Operations. Mr. McFee has over 8 years of hands-on project management and operations experience with Syscon Justice Systems. Brought on board during the ramp up for Y2K, Mr. McFee was a key part of the company’s many successful implementations during that time. He has been responsible for the managing the systems implementations to a variety of corrections agencies; including jails, prisons, parole and probation agencies. In addition he has been experience with the development and management of all aspects of Syscon’s software development lifecycle; encompassing requirements analysis, design, development, testing and training of Syscon products. Mr. McFee is now responsible for the project management, project delivery and customer support functions of Syscon’s business.

Photo Dan CrawfordBERRIL PERKS, Managing Director, Asia Pacific. Berril has 9 years of hands-on operations & management experience with Syscon Justice Systems. With a background criminal justice studies & young offender case management, Berril was brought on board during the Firm’s ramp up for Y2K and has played a key role in the delivery of Syscon’s systems to community corrections agencies. In addition he has been responsible for leading Community Case Management product development and managing the requirements analysis and design aspects of Syscon’s software development lifecycle. Berril is now responsible for managing the operations, project delivery, customer support and business development functions of Syscon’s Australia and New Zealand business.
