Core Components of Elite Community Parole and Probation Software:

Intake – Performs client intake/registration and discharge (“opening and closing probation and parole contacts”), and keeps a fully searchable central contact history file of all active and inactive client records on the parole/probation software.

Orders & Conditions – All legal information on court orders is grouped together as a ‘legal case,’ every occurrence as a parolee or probationer’s case passes through the legal system – arrests, court appearances, convictions, pre-sentence reports and/or sentencing conditions for community clients. The Track Community Service Progress feature tracks the client’s progress on any community service hours he/she must serve as part of a sentencing condition.

Programs & Services – Supports the process of referring clients to specific programs or services developed to meet the community service or treatment needs. Handles client scheduling for assigned programs, and tracks client attendance and performance against user-defined objectives and measurement criteria. Helps community corrections officers to steer clients through the maze of available treatments, assistance and retributive options. The software includes an automated task generation system to notify officers of significant offender developments, an improved workload management and assignment engine, and significantly expanded probation or parole Violations and Sanctions management.

Workload Management – The software assigns or re-assigns parolees, probationers  and their associated work to staff members at community offices. Once a client record is active as a community contact and sentences or requests have been administered, client work is assignable to any staff member at any location.

Case Management – Allows community corrections supervisors to effectively monitor each client. Tools include assessments, case planning, case notes/contact log, scheduling and substance abuse monitoring.

Case Planning – Establishes rehabilitation goals for each client and the necessary steps to be taken to achieve each goal. In some cases, a goal is set for a client in order to demonstrate that he/she is meeting the conditions of the sentence.

Integrated Word Processing – Seamless integration with Microsoft Word™ and the Elite offender database to produce client-specific documents commonly used by supervisory agencies. Includes a number of standard operational and management reports.

Imaging – Records single or multiple images of offenders (face, profile, physical marks) using a standard video or digital camera. Fully integrated with Elite Jails and Elite Prisons – requires no imaging subsystem. The captured image is automatically stored with all other offender data in one record to enable single source accessibility.

Community Financials – Exact Financials from Syscon is a GAAP-compliant comprehensive financial management tool that manages and tracks all offender/client obligations; it integrates directly with Elite Community, unlike other parole and probation software.

Workflow – An automated driver of workflow processes. The messaging module allows for the generation of messages and work items via a series of custom database triggers and timer events. Each Elite user has the ability at any time to display all their messages or work items. Messages are directed to pre-defined officers assigned to that case. All generated messages will be stored directly in the client’s record.
